Our Summer Intern 2018

Ryan Early - 2018 Designform Intern

Our 2018 Summer Intern, Ryan Early has completed his time here with us at Designform. We enjoyed having him here and we wish him the best of luck as he enters his Senior year of high school. He is very talented and we believe that he has a bright future ahead of him. Before he left we wanted to ask him a few questions about his experience here.

Here is what he had to say:

Q: What was your favorite part of your experience here at Designform?

A: My favorite part of my experience was the environment. Everybody was extremely friendly and helpful. Whenever I had a question somebody was able to help me with whatever I needed. The office is very organized and sets you up for success.

Q: What did you learn from this experience?

A: I learned many valuable skills while working with Designform. It taught me how to handle a real life job. I also learned many valuable skills in AutoCAD. I learned what the life of an Architect is like. The most valuable thing was the experience.

Q: What is next for you? How will you use the resources acquired at Designform?

A: Next for me will probably be another internship with a civil engineer to figure out if I want to pursue Architecture or Engineering. The experience from this summer has really opened my mind to the world of Architecture. I have now started to consider studying Architecture at Auburn. I know that what I have gained from Designform will help me in whatever I decide to study at Auburn.

Q: Do you have any additional thoughts or words of wisdom for the staff or next intern?

A: I just want to thank everybody that helped through this amazing process. I also want to tell the next intern to value their time here. It is a great place and everybody wants to help you succeed. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, you aren’t going to know everything.
