SHELBY COMMERCE PARK

This 96-acre distribution center development, master planned for Graham & Company by Designform, includes four distribution warehouses. Each planned facility can be viewed from the highway across a permanent landscaped pond that is also used for drainage retention.

The development consists of four facilities of differing sizes, one totaling 560,000-square-foot, one 356,000-square-foot, one 247,000-square-foot, and one 206,000-square-foot. Constructed of steel frame with exterior tilt-up concrete wall panels, each building is designed with provisions for up to three separate tenants.

Features include 32’-0” clear storage height, cross-dock capabilities, and 185’ truck aprons for additional trailer storage. The structures are conventional steel frame with load bearing concrete tilt-up wall construction. Column spacing is 52’-0”, and dock doors are 13’-0” on center. As with all large Designform distribution center projects, the sprinkler system is ESFR.

The facilities also feature a reveal pattern and subtle shades of color combined with large glass corner treatments to establish scale.
