Designform provided facility programming, architectural design, MEPFP engineering, structural engineering, civil engineering, and project management services for this 15,880-square-foot health center located in Roanoke, Alabama.
The one-story, fully sprinklered facility is constructed of brick veneer on 6” exterior load bearing metal studs with 6” insulation, shingled roof on wood trusses and steel framing. In an effort to conserve functional floor area, a structured mechanical equipment platform was located in the attic space
The new facility includes Clinical, Home Health, and Environmental, Administrative and Building and Staff service areas. Clinical spaces include Exam Rooms, Nurses Labs and a Special Isolation Room with portable x-ray capabilities.
