Spring Cleaning Hacks

It's Spring cleaning time again. If you are like me, you don't enjoy cleaning and organizing. Hopefully, we can make this task a little less terrible or maybe even fun by trying some of these cleaning hacks.


Cleaning pets and pet beds with baking soda:

Sprinkle baking soda over your pet bedding, let it sit for 30 minutes then vacuum up.

Dusting with Tongs:

Blinds may just be the most difficult household item to dust, but with tongs, you can clean both sides of the blinds at one time. Check out this easy dusting hack video:

Some of these cleaning hacks I am a little skeptical of, but you never know until you try. I am a true believer in baking soda and vinegar hacks though. I have used this mix to unclog drains at home with much success.


Taking it one day at a time:

Making Lemonade Blog shares a lot of useful tips and strategies for spring cleaning. One of the best ways to get all of your spring cleaning done is to take it one day at a time. Included in the blog post is a calendar of tasks to do each day of the month. I really need to give this a shot at my own house.
