EVANS MEATS
This project involved the adaptive reuse and transformation of an existing tire warehouse into a modern meat processing and distribution facility for Evans Meats, located at Messer Airport Highway in Birmingham, Alabama.
The project scope included the development of comprehensive architectural drawings to support the conversion of the 113,178 square foot industrial building into a functional, code‑compliant food production facility, including 12,320 square feet of dedicated office space. The architectural design focused on efficiently integrating production, storage, and support spaces within the existing structure while aligning with Evans Meats’ operational workflows.
By leveraging the existing building shell, the project demonstrates the value of strategic reuse, transforming an underutilized industrial asset into a high‑performance manufacturing environment that supports long‑term operational growth.
