DEL MONTE FOODS

This 286,000-square-foot distribution center was constructed by a design/build team of Designform and Brice Building Company.

Consisting of load-bearing tilt-up concrete wall panels and conventional steel framing, the facility was designed for maximum high-rack warehousing capacity with long-span joists to minimize columns.

Color played a large part in the exterior design casting the Del Monte image over extensive wall areas. Built with fast-track methodology, the cost was held to $27.00 per square foot, including sitework.
