8/1/2004 - University of Alabama at Birmingham New Parking Deck and Office Building

Designform, Inc. has completed construction contract administration services for a new 644 space parking structure and a 40,000 square foot, Visitor Center, Classroom, and Laboratory/building for the University of Alabama at Birmingham. The combined structure is located on University Boulevard between 12th and 13th Streets. The parking structure was opened to the students on August 19, 2004.   The project was designed as a symbolic "Gateway Structure", in accordance with the University's Master Plan.

Designform, Inc. was responsible for architectural design and project management.  Craig Rogers, AIA is the Principal Architect, and Tom Kidwell, AIA is the Project Manager for the project.
