Doster Construction Co. recently completed the construction of the new manufacturing and distribution facility for Oxford Automotive. Doster served as the design/build contractor for the $18.7 million, 400,000-square-foot plant located in Jefferson Metropolitan Industrial Park. The plant will produce finished assemblies and underbody stampings for the Mercedes-Benz M-Class vehicles produced 14 miles away in Vance. The Doster team of site manager John Sarvis, project manager Brad Cook, superintendent Darryl Plier, and project engineer Chesley Hughes managed the project. Architectural services were provided by DesignForm Inc. of Birmingham.
